Mini Inquiries

Over the next we while I am will be working with small groups of mainly Year 2 children as they independently work through an inquiry process.
The process followed will involve:

• selecting a topic of interest
• recording what they know
• forming some questions to investigate
• identifying sources to find their information
• finding their answers
• finding graphics to support the information
• recording notes
• using their new found knowledge to create a presentation
• using a rubric to evaluate their work

The first group of learners included; George, Caleb, Max, Emmanuel, Oliver and Lachlan.
